High water pressure can cause a lot of problems
High water pressure can cause damage ranging from a leaky faucet to a busted pipe, and can also cause a condition known as water hammer or noisy pipes. This is the thumping or growling noise you may hear in your pipes, especially at night when water pressure is at its highest. Our technicians can check your water pressure to see if it is too high. If your pressure is about 55-65 pounds, you may need a pressure reducing valve installed or your old one replaced.
